02 — THE OPPORTUNITY
The next opportunity is usually visible before it becomes a sales opportunity — if you know which signals to connect.
Customers reveal intent in different ways.
They make commitments. Join initiatives. Adopt technologies. Invest in capabilities. Engage with services. Set targets. Change priorities.
Individually, these are fragments.
Connected together, they become signals of intent, maturity and potential opportunity.
Problem
The organisation had data. It didn't have a connected view of opportunity.
Useful intelligence existed across customer systems, technology data, sustainability initiatives, internal knowledge and previous engagement.
But those signals lived in different places.
Finding an opportunity meant knowing where to look, manually connecting the evidence and relying heavily on individual experience.
The opportunity was to turn fragmented information into a system that could continuously answer:
Where should we focus — and why?
Insight
Starting with Sustainability Signals, I built a decision intelligence platform that connects fragmented market, customer and technology signals to help teams identify where opportunities are forming — and what to do next.
Opportunity
Sustainability was the starting point — not the boundary.
Sustainability provided the first domain in which to build and test the intelligence model.
But the underlying system was designed around a broader pattern:
SIGNALS → CONTEXT → INTELLIGENCE → DECISION → ACTION
What began as Sustainability Signals became the foundation for a wider Decision Intelligence platform — designed to extend into other strategic domains over time.
03 — WHAT WE BUILT

04 — FROM INSIGHT TO IMPACT
The change
From signals to decisions.
SUSTAINABILITY SIGNALS Connect market, customer, technology and sustainability data to identify where activity is forming.
↓
TARGET INTELLIGENCE Turn signals into prioritised organisations — showing who to focus on and why.
↓
CUSTOMER INTELLIGENCE Build a deeper understanding of the organisation, its priorities, challenges and existing environment.
↓
ENGAGEMENT INTELLIGENCE Translate that context into more relevant conversations and potential interventions.
↓
STRATEGIC PLANNING Use patterns across customers and markets to inform where to focus next.
Don't just show the data. Help people reason with it.
IRIS, an AI-assisted intelligence layer, allows users to interrogate the connected evidence, explore organisations and continue analysis within the platform.
AI doesn't invent the opportunity.
It helps make sense of the signals behind it.
Impact: Moved opportunity identification from broad prospecting toward evidence-led decision-making.

05 — WHAT IT DEMONSTRATES
Intelligence designed around real commercial decisions.
The platform supports teams moving from finding an opportunity to deciding what to do about it.
Prioritise Which organisations are showing the strongest signals?
Understand Why has this organisation surfaced — and what is happening around it?
Engage What conversation is most relevant now?
Plan What do patterns across customers and markets tell us about where to focus?
The evidence remains visible throughout — so users can understand why an opportunity has surfaced rather than simply trust a score.
The opportunity was already there. The signals just weren't connected.
